Equipment we install and service

Two-stage gas furnaces / Modulating furnaces / Variable-speed blowers / Ducted heat pumps / Cold-climate heat pumps / Ductless mini-splits / Dual-fuel pairings / Air handlers / Evaporator coils / Condensers / Line sets / R-410A / R-454B / Heat kits / Condensate pumps / Flue liners / Hot-surface igniters / Flame sensors / Zoning dampers / Return drops / Supply trunks / MERV filters / and whatever the last owner left in the basement.

If it moves heat in a house, we have opened one up. Every quote names the part, the model and the reason.

Licence: WA contractor licence number, owner supplies. Bonded and insured: carrier and policy, owner supplies. We list these where you can look them up, or we do not list them.

Gas furnaces

Two-stage and modulating furnaces, sized from a room-by-room load calculation rather than the sticker on the old unit. We check the flue, the gas line and the return air before we price anything, because those three decide how long the new furnace lasts.

  • BTU/h input
  • AFUE
  • ECM blower
  • Manual J

Heat pumps

Ducted and ductless heat pumps, cold-climate models included, and dual-fuel setups that keep a good furnace as backup on the coldest nights. We tell you the outdoor temperature where your system hands over, in writing.

  • HSPF2
  • SEER2
  • Balance point
  • Defrost

Air conditioning

Central air on the ductwork you already have, with the line set replaced when it is the wrong size or charged with the wrong refrigerant. Tonnage comes from the load calculation, never from the house's square footage alone.

  • Tonnage
  • SEER2
  • R-454B
  • Line set

Most bad installs start with a guess. So before we price your system, we read what the old one has been telling everyone for years.

The nameplate

Every furnace and outdoor unit carries a rating plate. This is what we read off yours, and what each line means for your price.

  • MODEL / SERIALThe age of the equipment and its parts list, before a panel comes off.
  • INPUT BTU/HHow much fuel a furnace burns in an hour. We size the new one to your house, not to this number.
  • AFUEThe share of the fuel that ends up as heat inside the house instead of going up the flue.
  • SEER2Cooling efficiency under the test procedure that took effect in 2023.
  • HSPF2Heat pump heating efficiency, rated the same way.
  • REFRIGERANTR-410A on most systems running today. Much newer equipment ships with R-454B or R-32, and they do not mix.
  • VOLTS / MCA / MOCPWhether your panel and breaker can carry the new unit. Read now, not on install day.

A visit, in order

No sales sheet, no ten-year financing pitch at the kitchen table. One person who does the work, and a price you can hold us to.
